Med-Or Foundation signed a MoU with the CIHEAM Bari

Med-Or Foundation signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the CIHEAM Bari (Centre International de Hautes Etudes Agronomiques Méditerranéennes). The agreement was signed by the Chairman of Med-Or Foundation, Marco Minniti, and the Director of CIHEAM, Maurizio Raeli.

The International Centre for Advanced Mediterranean Agronomic Studies – Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Bari was established in 1962 by agreement with the Italian Government and by initiative of the OECD and the Council of Europe with the mission of promoting cooperation among European Mediterranean countries, through post-graduate training and applied scientific research activities in the thematic areas involving agriculture, sustainable food and rural development, youth entrepreneurship in the agri-food sector, and integrated management of coastal areas.

With this agreement Med-Or Foundation and the CIHEAM Bari are committed to collaborate in the fields of cultural promotion, international cooperation, and higher education, as well as to launch research projects related to the development of the use of new technologies in the agricultural sector, sustainable agriculture, and food safety, with a common vision of the broader Mediterranean.
