Med-Or Foundation attends Karpacz Economic Forum

The 33rd edition of the Polish-based dialogue platform dedicated a panel to the Geopolitics of the Mediterranean, with a focus on the competition between superpowers in the MENA region.

From 3 to 5 September, the 33rd Karpacz Economic Forum took place in Poland. The 2024 edition, organized by the Foundation Institute for Eastern Studies, was entitled ‘Time of New Leaders – Shaping the future together’.

Consolidated dialogue platform on economic, political, but also technological and security issues, the event provided an opportunity for European and international experts to discuss the main contemporary challenges.

In the session dedicated to international politics and security, Umberto Tavolato, director of the Med-Or Foundation Special Projects Unit attended the panel ‘Mediterranean Geopolitics: Game of Superpowers in the MENA Region’. The round table, moderated by Med-Or contributor and analyst Giorgio Cella, also featured Gennaro Migliore, Renaud Girard, Lukasz Przybyszewski and Zdenek Petras.
