Med-Or finances 10 scholarships for the Luiss Master in Mediterranean Cooperation and Security

Luiss Guido Carli University, with the support of Med-Or Foundation, launched a new Master’s program in Mediterranean Cooperation and Security for the academic year 2024/2025

The School of Government (SOG) of the Luiss Guido Carli University has launched a new Master in Mediterranean Cooperation and Security with the aim of providing students with a comprehensive understanding of the macro-region and its challenges in terms of cooperation and security. The Master, which is scheduled to commence on 1 October 2024 and will take place in presence at the Luiss campus in Rome, aims to equip future professionals with interdisciplinary skills to face the complex challenges affecting the Mediterranean.

The one-year program will offer a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical experience, ranging from political economy to climate change, from energy transition to security. One of the distinctive aspects of the Master is the intensive schedule of professional study visits to partner institutions, during which participants will be able to interact with local experts, entrepreneurs and policymakers to deepen their understanding of specific issues. These visits are scheduled in Morocco at the Public Policy School (PPS) of the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University, in the United Arab Emirates at the Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government and the Dubai Hub for Made in Italy-Emirates, and in Spain at the Universidad Francisco de Vitoria.

Scholarships are provided to eligible and deserving candidates. The 10 international scholarships, provided thanks to the support of Med-Or Foundation, will be awarded to students from Mediterranean countries.
