Med-Or Foundation present at the Abu Dhabi Strategic Debate 2024

The Med-Or Foundation took part in the 11th edition of the Abu Dhabi Strategic Debate (ADSD) from 11 to 12 November 2024, in the United Arab Emirates

On 11 and 12 November 2024, the 11th edition of the Abu Dhabi Strategic Debate (ADSD) was held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, entitled ‘The Illusion of Stability: A World in Flux’ and organised by the Emirates Policy Center (EPC).

The Med-Or Foundation took part in the event, represented in Abu Dhabi by the Director of the International Relations Unit, Massimo Khairallah. Since 2022 the Foundation has been working with the Emirates Policy Center (EPC) with several joint initiatives, including the participation of the founder and President of the EPC, Ebtesam Al Ketbi, in the event ‘Middle East. One year later', organised on 9 October at the Foundation headquarters.

Among the top 10 platforms for debate on issues of a strategic nature according to the Global Go To Think Tank Index Report, by the University of Pennsylvania, the ADSD represents an important occasion for the dialogue between politicians, experts and academics from all over the world. During this edition, various topics were addressed: from the crises in the Middle East, to the role that the Gulf countries - in particular the United Arab Emirates - can play in stabilising the region and beyond.
