The Value of Mediation. Med-Or’s event with Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi
Med-Or Italian Foundation hosted Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi, Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, for a discussion focused on the role of mediation in today’s international dynamics.
On Tuesday, 19 May, Med-Or headquarters hosted the event entitled “The Value of Mediation” featuring H.E. Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi, Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar. The meeting provided an important opportunity for dialogue on the main international geopolitical scenarios and on the role of diplomacy in crisis management.
Following opening remarks by Med-Or Chairman Marco Minniti, the discussion explored mediation as a fundamental instrument for the prevention and resolution of conflicts, particularly in light of current regional and global tensions. Minister Al-Khulaifi’s contribution offered valuable insight into the diplomatic initiatives promoted by Qatar and highlighted the importance of dialogue in strengthening international stability.
The initiative further confirms Med-Or Italian Foundation’s commitment to fostering opportunities for analysis and discussion on international politics, security, and cooperation through the involvement of distinguished institutional representatives and leading figures from the global geopolitical landscape.
Qatar is playing an increasingly significant role in the balance of power in the Middle East and beyond, as well as in international mediation process, thanks to an expanding diplomatic activity which in recent years has contributed to promoting dialogue in various crisis contexts.
