Med-Or and the Luiss School of Government presented the Master’s program in Mediterranean Cooperation and Security at the Luiss university campus

On Wednesday, May 8, Med-Or Foundation, in collaboration with the Luiss School of Government and its Mediterranean Platform, organized an event to present the Luiss Master in Mediterranean Cooperation and Security for the academic year 2024/2025. The event was opened by the introductory remarks of Andrea Prencipe, Rector of Luiss University, and featured speeches by Anna Maria Bernini, Italian Minister of University and Scientific Research; Marco Minniti, Chairman of Med-Or Foundation; Giovanni Orsina, Director of Luiss School of Government. The conference was coordinated by David Parenzo, La7 and Radio24 journalist.

During the event, the speakers illustrated the contents of the Master’s program and its distinctive features, and explored and analyzed the recent trends and dynamics in security and cooperation in the Mediterranean.

The Master, which will take place in presence at the Luiss University Campus in Rome, offers interdisciplinary training that combines both theory and practice, including seminars and academic research activities in addition to meetings with experts from the world of institutions, diplomacy, businesses and of think tanks.

Additionally, the Master will provide the opportunity to study abroad at several Luiss partner institutions in Morocco (Public Policy School at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University), in the United Arab Emirates (Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government and Dubai Hub for Made in Italy), and in Spain (Francisco de Vitoria University).

From a practical point of view, during the second semester, students will also have the opportunity to carry out a research project under the supervision of Luiss or that of an external partner.

Finally, thanks to the support of Med-Or Foundation, ten scholarships will be offered to students from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan and Lebanon.
