On the 23rd of June, the Med-Or Italian Foundation and the The Post Internazionale (TPI) have organised the event "Qatar and Europe: A Mediterranean Dialogue – Building Stronger Channels for International Mediation and Cooperation". The discussion, held at Palazzo Orsini Taverna and chaired by Giulio Gambino – featured Majed Al Ansari, Advisor to the Prime Minister and Official Spokeperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, Luigi di Maio, European Union Special Representative for the Gulf region, and Massimo Khairallah, Director of International Relations at Med-Or.

During the initiative, which brought together diplomatic, institutional, and business representatives, extensive attention was devoted to the topic of international mediation and to Qatar’s role, which has distinguished itself in recent years through increasingly active diplomacy, including in particularly sensitive crisis contexts.

The event further confirms Med-Or Italian Foundation’s commitment to promoting dialogue between the European Union and the Gulf Countries and in offering opportunities to discuss the major issues shaping the current international agenda.
