Med-Or Foundation: the first Scholarships in collaboration with LUISS Guido Carli of Rome and Mohammed VI Polytechnic of Rabat

Rome, 08th October 2021 – At the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Luigi Di Maio, Med-Or Foundation presents three Scholarships to students from the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University of Rabat, as a result of the agreement between the Foundation, the University of Rabat and LUISS Guido Carli. Present at the event, in addition to the President of Med-Or Foundation Marco Minniti, also the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco Youssef Balla and prominent exponents of the LUISS Guido Carli University: the President Vincenzo Boccia, the Vice-president Paola Severino, the Rector Andrea Prencipe and the General Manager Giovanni Lo Storto.

Specifically, the winners of the Scholarships are three students from Morocco, who will attend two-year master’s degree courses, respectively, in Global Management and Politics, International Relations and Economics and Finance.

"We are happy to reward these young deserving students, who can enrich their cultural background and enhance, even more, their educational path with this experience - says Marco Minniti, President of Med-Or Foundation - The promotion of a new collaboration between two prestigious universities such as the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University of Rabat and LUISS Guido Carli of Rome is only the first of the initiatives that the Foundation intends to support. Our aim is to start ulterior plans of high formation, which might act as a flywheel in order to strengthen ties and international relationships between Italy and the Countries of the wide Mediterranean area.”

The Foundation, in fact, is committed both to promoting collaboration in the academic and research fields and to supporting multiple cultural activities, according to the purposes for which it was established, with the aim of fostering cooperation, dialogue and international partnerships.
