President Minniti meets the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Yemen, Dr. Ahmad Awad Bin Mubarak

Med-Or Chairman, Marco Minniti, met the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Yemen, Dr. Ahmad Awad Bin Mubarak, at the headquarters of Med-Or Foundation

On December 1st Med-Or Foundation Chairman Marco Minniti met, at the headquarters of the Foundation, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Yemen, Dr. Ahmad Awad Bin Mubarak, in a meeting aimed at effectively implementing the Memorandum signed last October by Med-Or and Yemeni Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation. In addition to the areas of professional and academic education, potential projects were examined for the conservation of the tangible and intangible heritage of Yemen – given the historic Italian contribution in this area since the 1930s – such as the conservation of the historic city of Sanaa, UNESCO world heritage site since 1986, in a serious state of deterioration for many years, and the preservation of the island of Socotra, 2003 Human and Biosphere Reserve for its unique biodiversity in the world with almost 400 species of endemic plants, such as the famous Socotra Dragon Tree.
