Med-Or meets the students and professors of the LUISS Master in Mediterranean Cooperation and Security

Launched in May 2024 in partnership with the LUISS School of Government and the Mediterranean Platform, the master’s programme is one of the Foundation’s activities to promote higher education and research.

On 10 December 2024, the Med-Or Foundation welcomed the students and lecturers of the Master in Mediterranean Cooperation and Security, an interdisciplinary study programme organized in collaboration with the Luiss School of Government and the Mediterranean Platform.

The master’s course, which welcomed 15 students from seven Mediterranean countries with diverse backgrounds in international relations, law, and media studies, aims to promote political, economic and cultural cooperation between the countries of the Broader Mediterranean through seminars, research activities and meetings with experts from institutions, diplomacy, business and think tanks.

Thanks to the support of the Med-Or Foundation, it was possible to ensure the participation of students from Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine, Tunisia, Algeria, and Egypt, and to fund 10 scholarships for students from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, Jordan, and Lebanon.

The initiative is one of the many activities carried out by Med-Or to promote higher education and scientific research through collaboration with Italian universities and the funding of scholarships and doctoral studies both in Italy and abroad.
