The first edition of Med-Or’s Masterclass Series, organized in partnership with the Luiss Guido Carli University School of Government, was inaugurated on Tuesday, 28 October, at the Viale Romania campus in Rome.

On 28 October 2025, the Med-Or Italian Foundation and the Luiss School of Government inaugurated the Masterclass Series “Strategy and Security in the Wider Mediterranean” with an introductory session held at the Luiss Campus in Viale Romania, Rome, entitled “Geopolitics and Power Balances: Changing Scenarios and Security Dynamics in the Mediterranean.”

The opening session, featuring remarks by Marco Minniti, President of Med-Or, and introduced by Gaetano Quagliariello, Dean of the Luiss School of Government, marked the beginning of a series of meetings dedicated to the analysis of emerging paradigms of global security. The programme will particularly focus on understanding the main strategic, economic, and geopolitical challenges facing Italy and its industrial system.

The Masterclass, jointly organized by Med-Or and Luiss SOG, will take place throughout the 2025/2026 academic year and will consist of a cycle of seminar-style lectures open to representatives from the business and industrial sectors. Its objective is to provide effective analytical tools and insights for understanding the evolving dynamics of international security, in light of ongoing technological, economic, and geopolitical transformations.
