Med-Or: renewed the MoU with Lebanon

On April 16, the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lebanon was renewed, reaffirming the Foundation’s commitment to supporting the education and training of the Lebanese population

On April 16, Med-Or Italian Foundation Chairman, Marco Minniti, and the Ambassador of Lebanon to Italy, H.E. Mira Daher, renewed the existing partnership, which has been in place since 2022, by signing a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Foundation and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants of the Republic of Lebanon.

This agreement further strengthens the long-standing collaboration between the Foundation and the Republic of Lebanon, a country whose stability and prosperity are of paramount importance for the entire Broader Mediterranean region.

In recent years, the Med-Or Italian Foundation has promoted numerous initiatives aimed at cultural growth and skill development in the country, with particular focus on young people and the higher education sector. In continuity with its previous efforts, the new MoU aims to support education and training for the Lebanese population through targeted projects, including the provision of scholarships at Italian and Lebanese institutes and universities, as well as the organization of joint activities such as seminars, conferences, and workshops.

More generally, the agreement demonstrates the Foundation’s desire to serve as a point of dialogue and coordination for the development of structural programs in the fields of education and training, promoting the strengthening of local competencies while respecting the rules and cultural expressions of partner countries such as Lebanon.
