Med-Or Leonardo Foundation: Chairman Marco Minniti visited the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Bahrain

Med-Or Leonardo Foundation Chairman, Mr. Marco Minniti, paid a visit to the UAE, Qatar and Bahrain between 24-28 of March 2022

H.E. Gen. Sheikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior of Bahrain, and Marco Minniti, Chairman of Med-Or Leonardo Foundation

Med-Or Leonardo Foundation Chairman, Mr. Marco Minniti, paid a visit to the UAE, Qatar and Bahrain between 24-28 of March 2022.

During his visit to the Arab Gulf, Mr. Minniti visited Dubai Expo and met with the UAE Minister of International Cooperation Reem Al Hashimy discussing the latest geopolitical developments and agreeing on the need to work together to bridge better understanding and cooperation between UAE and Italy as well as Europe.

In Bahrain, Mr. Minniti had several meetings with high level officials including the Minister of Finance and National Economy, H.E. Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa, the Minister of Interior, H.E. General Sh. Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Diplomatic Affairs Advisor for His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, H.E. Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, and government representatives in the fields of Higher Education and Health Security.

During the meetings, Mr. Minniti discussed with Bahrain officials the possibility to collaborate on higher education, medical cooperation and the teaching of Arabic culture and language in Italy, as well as the teaching of the Italian language in Bahrain.

Finally, Mr. Minniti visited the Doha Forum on 26-27 March signing a Letter of Intent between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the State of Qatar and Med-Or Foundation on a number of potential areas of cooperation such as cultural ties, including through higher education and research, especially in the fields of high-tech and innovation.
