Med-Or: the training course for scholarship holders in the Master in Middle Eastern Studies (MIMES) comes to an end

The training course for scholarship holders in the Master’s programme in Middle Eastern Studies (MIMES) of the ASERI Graduate School of Economics and International Relations of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore has come to an end

During the 2023/24 academic year, the Med-Or Foundation financed three scholarships at the ASERI Graduate School of Economics and International Relations of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore’s Master in Middle Eastern Studies (MIMES) for foreign students representing various areas of the Middle East, namely from Lebanon, Iraq and the Palestinian National Authority. The students actively participated in all the teaching activities of the Master’s course, taking advantage of the opportunity offered by the Foundation to enrich their personal training. The collaboration between Med-Or and MIMES is now in its third year, and will continue during the academic year that has just begun.

ASERI’s Master in Middle Eastern Studies (MIMES) is a first level Master’s programme that provides a comprehensive understanding of the social, political, economic and cultural dynamics of the contemporary Middle East. Aimed at both students and experts in international relations and professionals with an established career, MIMES offers internship opportunities that orient participants towards international careers in international and non-governmental organisations, research centres and multinational corporations as specialists in Middle Eastern dynamics. Further strengths of the Master’s in Middle Eastern Studies, in addition to its interdisciplinarity, are both the international faculty and the students from all over the world.

Med-Or continues, through the support of scholarships for deserving students from the MENA region, its work for the promotion of higher education and the training of young people, also with the aim of strengthening the internationalisation process of Italian universities and promoting the quality and skills of our universities abroad.
